James Lloyd "Deed" Klein - Born January 13, 1910 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - Died December 9, 1966 in Saskatchewan was a Canadian ice Hockey left winger and coach.

- Stanley Cup Champion 1929 with Boston Bruins
- Prince of Wales Trophy Champion 1929 with Boston Bruins.
*Deed played only 8 regular season NHL games in 1928-29.

- Calder Cup Champion 1943, 1944 with Buffalo Bisons

- F. G. "Teddy" Oke Trophy Champion 1943 with Buffalo Bisons

Deed made his NHL debut with Boston Bruins on November 15, 1928 vs Pittsburgh Pirates at Duquesne Gardens in a 2-1 Boston win.

Deed scored his 1st NHL goal vs Charlie Gardiner of Chicago Black Hawks at 8:54 of 3rd period at Boston Garden in a 11-1 Boston win.

Deed played in 164 regular season NHL games, scoring 30 goals (4 GWG / 1 OTG), 25 assists with 68 penalty minutes and 5 NHL playoff games with 2 penalty minutes.

NOTE
His tombstone has 1910 J. L. (Deed) 1966 and a photo of 1929 Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins has him as "Dutch"
