EditEdward Joseph "Eddie" Johnston - Born November 24, 1935 in Montreal, Quebec is a Canadian retired ice Hockey goaltender, coach and general manager.

- Stanley Cup Champion 1970, 1972 with Boston Bruins, 2009, 2016, 2017 with Pittsburgh Penguins management.
- Prince of Wales Trophy Champion 1971, 1972 with Boston Bruins, 2008, 2009, 2016, 2017 with Pittsburgh Penguins management.
- Summit Series Champion 1972 with Team Canada.
Johnston was the 3rd goalie for Canada at the 1972 Summit Series. He was on the bench as a backup in game 5, 6 at Luzhniki Palace of Sports in Moscow. He played for Canada in game 2 vs Sweden (4-4 tie) in a 3 game exhibition series before the final 4 games vs Soviet Union.
Johnston made his NHL debut with Boston Bruins vs Detroit Red Wings on October 25, 1962 at Boston Garden in a 3-3 tie.
Johnston got his 1st NHL win vs Detroit Red Wings on December 20, 1962 at Detroit Olympia in a 5-3 Boston win.
Johnston got his 1st NHL shutout vs Toronto Maple Leafs on January 1, 1963 at Boston Garden in a 3-0 Boston win.
Johnston played in 592 regular season NHL games, winning 236, losing 256, 78 ties with 32 shutouts, 10 assists and 26 penalty minutes. He played in 18 NHL playoff games, winning 7, losing 10 with 1 shutout and 2 penalty minutes.
