EditCarl Oliver Hagelin - Born August 23, 1988 in Nykvarn, Sweden is a Swedish retired ice Hockey left winger.

Hagelin played his junior Hockey with Södertälje SK in Sweden and later joined the University of Michigan and became the 1st Sweden-born player to play for the Wolverines, and in his final season, helped the Wolverines reach the NCAA Div. 1 finals in 2011, losing in overtime to Minnesota Duluth.
Hagelin turned pro with Connecticut Whale, playing in 5 AHL playoff games and 17 regular season AHL games before making his NHL debut with New York Rangers on November 25, 2011 vs Washington Capitals at Verizon Center in a 6-3 Rangers win. He had 1 assist in the game... on the game winner.
Hagelin scored his 1st NHL goal vs Sergei Bobrovsky of Philadelphia Flyers at 5:06 of 3rd period on November 26, 2011 at Madison Square Garden in a 2-0 Rangers win.
At the 2012 NHL All-Star Game Weekend, Hagelin represented Team Alfredsson at the SuperSkills Competition, and won the fastest skater competition with a time of 12.993
Hagelin scored his 1st NHL hat-trick vs Ondřej Pavelec & Al Montoya of Winnipeg Jets on March 14, 2014 at MTS Centre in a 4-2 Rangers win. His 2nd goal was the game winner.
The Rangers traded Hagelin to Anaheim Ducks on June 27, 2015, where he played 43 games before the Ducks traded him to Pittsburgh Penguins on January 16, 2016.
With the Penguins, Hagelin played with Nick Bonino and Phil Kessel (HBK Line), helping Pittsburgh win back to back Stanley Cup championships in 2016 and 2017.
Hagelin was later traded to Los Angeles Kings and finished his NHL career with Washington Capitals in 2022.
Hagelin played in 713 regular season NHL games, scoring 110 goals (27 GWG / 1 OTG), 186 assists with 293 penalty minutes and 141 NHL playoff games, scoring 22 goals (3 GWG / 1 OTG), 28 assists with 76 penalty minutes.
