Schock made his NHL debut with the Boston Bruins and scored his 1st NHL goal vs Terry Sawchuk of the Detroit Red Wings at 6:27 of 2nd period on February 29, 1964 at Boston Garden in a 2-1 Bruins win.
Schock played in 909 regular season NHL games, scoring 166 goals (24 GWG), 351 assists with 258 penalty minutes and 55 NHL playoff games, scoring 4 goals (1 GWG / 1 OTG), 16 assists with 29 penalty minutes.
Ron Schock was inducted into the Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in 1990.
NOTE
Schock scored one of the most important playoff goals in St. Louis Blues history, when in game 7 of 1968 Stanley Cup semifinals, Schock scored in double overtime on Cesare Maniago of Minnesota North Stars at 2:50 of 2nd overtime on May 3rd 1968 at St. Louis Arena in a 2-1 Blues win, sending St. Louis to their 1st Stanley Cup finals.
