Eugene "Gene" Carrigan - Born July 5, 1906 in Edmonton, Alberta - Died March 15, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas was a Canadian/American ice Hockey centre and coach.

Carrigan played most of his career in the minors with Edmonton Eskimos, Hollywood Millionaires, Springfield Indians, Portland Buckaroos, London Tecumsehs, Detroit Olympics, Boston Cubs, New Haven Eagles, St. Paul Saints and Fort Worth Rangers.

Carrigan did play in the NHL too, 33 games with the New York Rangers, making his NHL debut on November 11, 1930 vs Philadelphia Quakers, also scoring his 1st NHL goal vs Joe Miller at 13:04 of 2nd period at Philadelphia Arena in a 3-0 Rangers win. Carrigan then played 4 playoff games for Detroit Red Wings in March/April 1934 and 4 games for St. Louis Eagles in January 1935. He had 2 goals (1 GWG), 1 assist and 13 penalty minutes in 41 NHL games.
