David James "Dave" Brown - Born October 12, 1962 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is a Canadian retired ice Hockey right winger and assistant coach.

Calder Cup finalist 1983 with Maine Mariners.

Brown played his junior Hockey with Yorkton Terriers, Billings Bighorns, Spokane Flyers and Saskatoon Blades, leading the Blades in penalty minutes with 344.

Brown made his pro Hockey debut with Maine Mariners, leading them with 418 penalty minutes, also helping them reach the 1983 Calder Cup finals.

Brown made his NHL debut with Philadelphia Flyers on March 12, 1983 vs Boston Bruins at Boston Garden in a 5-2 Bruins win.

Brown scored his 1st NHL goal vs Greg Millen of Hartford Whalers at 15:22 of 1st period on February 25, 1984 at Hartford Civic Center in a 9-7 Whalers win.

Brown was one of the NHL enforcers/tough guys, having fights with some of the toughest NHL players of all time - Bob Probert, John Kordic, Tie Domi, Rob Ray, Chris Nilan to name a few.

Brown played in 729 regular season NHL games, scoring 45 goals (6 GWG / 1 OTG), 52 assists with 1789 penalty minutes and 80 NHL playoff games, scoring 2 goals, 3 assists with 209 penalty minutes.
