John Francis "Jack" Howard - Born October 15, 1909 in London, Ontario - Died September 14, 1983 in Cambridge, Ontario was a Canadian ice Hockey defenceman.

- J. Ross Robertson Cup Senior Champion 1934 with Hamilton Tigers.

- British Empire Hockey Trophy / British Empire Hockey Champion 1935 with Hamilton Tigers.

- Calder Cup Champion 1937 with Syracuse Stars.
- F. G. "Teddy" Oke Trophy Champion 1937 with Syracuse Stars.

Howard played his junior Hockey with Hamilton Patricias, then joined the Hamilton Tigers senior team, which he had much success with, helping them win the OHA senior championship in 1934. He and the Tigers then went to England for a 7 game series at Wembley Stadium, winning the British Empire Hockey Trophy in April 1935.

Howard turned pro with the IHL Syracuse Stars, playing 4 seasons there from 1935 to 1939. While playing in Syracuse, Howard got a 2 game call up to the Toronto Maple Leafs, making his NHL debut on November 26, 1936 vs Montreal canadiens at Montreal Forum in a 4-2 Toronto win. He also played Montreal on November 28 at Maple Leaf Gardens. He had 0 points or penalties in the 2 games.

Howard played most of his career in the International American Hockey League / American Hockey League.
