John Harold MacLean - Born November 20, 1964 in Oshawa, Ontario is a retired Canadian ice Hockey right winger and coach.

- J. Ross Robertson Cup Junior Champion 1983 with Oshawa Generals
Memorial Cup finalist 1983 with Oshawa Generals and was selected to the All-Star Team at right wing.

- Silver Medal Winner at 1989 IIHF World Ice Hockey Championships with Team Canada.

- Stanley Cup Champion 1995 and 2003 (assistant coach) with New Jersey Devils.

- Prince of Wales Trophy Champion 1995 and 2003 (assistant coach) with New Jersey Devils.

MacLean played his junior Hockey with Oshawa Generals, helping them win the OHL championship in 1983.

MacLean made his NHL debut with New Jersey Devils on October 5, 1983 vs New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden in a 6-2 Rangers win.

MacLean scored his 1st NHL goal vs Eddie Mio of Detroit Red Wings at 15:48 of 2nd period on October 8, 1983 at Joe Louis Arena in a 6-3 Devils win.

MacLean scored his 1st NHL hat-trick vs Gilles Meloche of Pittsburgh Penguins on January 28, 1988 at Brendan Byrne Arena in a 6-3 Devils win.

MacLean played in 1194 regular season NHL games, scoring 413 goals (63 GWG / 3 OTG), 429 assists with 1328 penalty minutes and 104 NHL playoff games, scoring 35 goals (4 GWG), 48 assists with 152 penalty minutes.

MacLean played in the 1989 and 1991 NHL All-Star Games.

MacLean turned to coaching after retiring as a player with New Jersey Devils, Lowell Devils, Carolina Hurricanes, Arizona Coyotes, San Jose Sharks, New York Islanders.
