Reginald Stephen "Reg" Fleming - Born April 21, 1936 in Montreal, Quebec - Died July 11, 2009 in Arlington Heights, Illinois was a Canadian/American ice Hockey defenceman / left winger.

- Stanley Cup Champion 1961 with Chicago Black Hawks.

Fleming made his NHL debut with Montreal Canadiens on December 12, 1959 vs Detroit Red Wings at Montreal Forum in a 3-2 Detroit win.

Fleming scored his 1st NHL goal vs Gump Worsley of New York Rangers at 8:20 of 1st period at Chicago Stadium in a 4-0 Chicago win. His goal, a shorthanded one was the game winner.

Fleming played in 749 regular season NHL games, scoring 108 goals (17 GWG), 132 assists with 1470 penalty minutes and 50 NHL playoff games, scoring 3 goals (1 GWG), 6 assists with 106 penalty minutes.

Fleming assisted on Bobby Hull's 50th goal of 1961-62 season.

Fleming was known as "The Ruffian" due to his aggressive playing.

NOTE
Fleming had Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy / C.T.E.
He was the first Hockey player known to have been tested for the disease.
