Robert Claude Ruel - Born September 12, 1938 in Sherbrooke, Quebec - Died February 9, 2015 in Longueuil, Quebec was a Canadian ice Hockey defenceman, scout, director and coach.

As a player, Ruel was struck in the eye by Belleville McFarland's Russ Kowalchuk's stick in late November, 1957, which basically ended the playing career of Ruel. His team would go on to win the 1958 Memorial Cup.

- Stanley Cup Champion 1969 with Montreal Canadiens (coach).

- Prince of Wales Trophy Champion 1969, 1981 with Montreal Canadiens (coach).

- Calder Cup Champion 1972 with Nova Scotia Voyageurs (assistant coach)
