Medal G.A.A.: Hurling 1923, an attractive 9ct gold circular Medal, with pierced centre and harp display, surrounded by Celtic motifs and inscribed Kevin Barry Memorial, the reverse inscribed Hurling Match - Dublin V Kilkenny 1923, by J.M. (John Miller) - The match took place in Croke Park, and was organised as the Kevin Barry Memorial Final by Joe Stanley and G.A.A. Councillors. The Cats beat Dublin in a wonderful contest 5.3 to 4.3. The Medals were presented by the late Kevin Barry's sister.
