Michael Dennis "Mike" Liut - Born January 7, 1956) is a Canadian retired ice Hockey goaltender.

Liut made his NHL debut with the St. Louis Blues on October 23, 1979 vs Boston Bruins at St. Louis Arena in a 5-5 tie.

Liut got his 1st NHL victory vs Edmonton Oilers on October 23, 1979 at St. Louis Arena in a 2-1 St. Louis win.

Liut got his 1st NHL shutout vs Hartford Whalers on December 29, 1979 at St. Louis Arena in a 3-0 St. Louis win.

Liut played in 663 regular season NHL games, winning 293, losing 271 with 74 ties, 25 shutouts and 13 assists. He played in 67 NHL playoff games, winning 29, losing 32 with 2 shutouts.

Liut had his best NHL season in 1980-81 winning 33 games, losing 14 and 13 ties with 1 shutout. He was selected as a 1st Team NHL All-Star and was the 1981 Lester B. Pearson Award (Ted Lindsay Award) winner.

Liut also represented Canada at the 1981 Canada Cup, winning 4 games, 1 loss and 1 tie. Canada lost to the Soviet Union 8-1 in championship game.
