Plain clothes photo of centre forward Bernard Patrick "Bernie" Morris (1890–1963) of the 1923–24 Calgary Tigers of the Western Canada Hockey League (WCHL).
Calgary Tigers appeared in the 1924 Stanley Cup Finals against the Montreal Canadiens, a series they lost 1 goals to 9 (1-6, 0-3).
Brandon, Manitoba native Bernie Morris had priorly won the Stanley Cup with the Seattle Metropolitans in 1917. In 1919 he was arrested for alleged draft dodging and as a result missed the 1919 Stanley Cup Finals (with the Seattle Metropolitans) as well as the entirety of the 1919–20 regular season.
