Wilfred Harold "Gizzy" Hart - Born June 1, 1901 in Brandon, Manitoba - Died June 22, 1964 in Weyburn, Saskatchewan was a Canadian ice Hockey left winger and coach.

- Stanley Cup Champion 1925 with Victoria Cougars.
Gizzy scored the Stanley Cup winning goal.
Stanley Cup finalist 1926.

- Western Canada Hockey League Cup (Merchants Casualty Cup) Champion 1925.

- Western Hockey League Champion 1926 with Victoria Cougars.

- Henri Fontaine Trophy / Fontaine Cup Champion 1930, 1932, 1934 with Providence Reds.

Gizzy played his 1st professional Hockey with the Victoria Cougars in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association and Western Canada Hockey League. He scored the Stanley Cup winning goal for the Cougars in 1925.

The Victoria Cougars would be sold to a new NHL team in Detroit in 1926. They were first known as the Detroit Cougars, and Gizzy made his NHL debut on November 18, 1926 vs Boston Bruins at Border Cities Arena in a 2-0 Bruins win.

Gizzy was sold to the Montreal Canadiens after his 3rd NHL game and made his debut with the Canadiens on December 16, 1926. He scored his 1st NHL goal vs Jake Forbes of New York Americans at 18:33 of 3rd period on January 4, 1927 at Madison Square Garden in a 6-3 Americans win.

Gizzy played in 99 regular season NHL games, scoring 6 goals (1 GWG), 9 assists with 12 penalty minutes and 8 NHL playoff games with 1 assist.

Gizzy would become a star player for the Providence Reds in the Canadian-American Hockey League / Can-Am, helping them win 3 championships in 6 seasons playing there.

After retiring, Gizzy turned to coaching with the Weyburn Beavers and later with Notre Dame Hounds.

Gizzy Hart was inducted into the RI Hockey Hall of Fame in 1963 Charter Class.
