Players and executives received shocking gold and diamond rings to commemorate the awesome season. Vice-President Jean Beliveau's ring is highlighted by a white gold face that includes 24 diamonds surrounding a larger one in the middle. "NHL" is above and "Champions" below while "19" and "78" are at the sides. One shank has a miniature replica of hockey's ultimate prize and lists the 21 years that Montreal took home the silverware. The other includes "Beliveau", the Habs logo and their 59-10-11 record.
