Duncan Robert "Dunc" Fisher - Born August 30, 1927 in Regina, Saskatchewan – September 22, 2017 in Regina, Saskatchewan was a Canadian ice Hockey right winger and coach.

Stanley Cup finalist 1950 with New York Rangers.

Fisher played his junior Hockey with the Regina Abbots and the Regina Pats.

Fisher was the property of the New York Rangers and scored 59 points in 68 games in his 1st year as a pro with the AHL's New Haven Ramblers in 1947-48. At the end of that season he played 1 playoff game for the Rangers, making his NHL debut on April 4, 1948 vs Detroit Red Wings at Madison Square Garden in a 4-2 Red Wings win. He had 1 assist in the game.

Fisher scored his 1st NHL goal vs Harry Lumley of Detroit Red Wings at 5:48 of 2nd period on October 27, 1948 at Madison Square Garden in a 3-2 Red Wings win. He had 25 points (9 goals) in 60 games as a rookie playing on a line with Don Raleigh and Nick Mickoski. The hard-working forward enjoyed his finest year in 1949-50 when he played all 70 games for the Rangers and scored 3 goals while helping New York reach the Stanley Cup final.

A few games into the 1950-51 season, Fisher was sent to the Boston Bruins for Ed Harrison and Zellio Toppazzini. He played parts of 3 years in Boston and scored a career-high 15 goals in 1951-52.

Early in the 1952-53 season Fisher joined the AHL's Hershey Bears and became one of the most prolific scorers in the history of that franchise. Fisher hit the 40-goal mark in 4 of his 6 seasons. In 1953-54 he set an AHL record with 13 game-winning goals. He also led the league with 41 goals in 1957-58 and was a first-team all-star that year and helped Hershey win the Calder Cup in 1958. Fisher also garnered selection to the second team four straight years from 1954 to 1957.

After a nearly six-year hiatus from the NHL, Fisher was called up by the Detroit Red Wings to play 8 games in 1958-59. Detroit had acquired his service from Boston in the off-season for Don Poile and Hec Lalande. Fisher starred for 2 more years in Hershey where won another Calder Cup in 1959 before retiring the following year.

Fisher played in 274 regular season NHL games, scoring 45 goals (4 GWG), 70 assists with 104 penalty minutes and 21 NHL playoff games, scoring 4 goals , 4 assists with 14 penalty minutes.

Fisher played in 570 regular season AHL games, scoring 285 goals, 335 assists with 365 penalty minutes and 49 AHL playoff games, scoring 22 goals, 24 assists with 14 penalty minutes.

Fisher was selected to the 1959 AHL First All-Star Team.

Dunc Fisher was inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame in 2001.

Dunc Fisher was inducted into the Hershey Bears Hall of Fame in 2014.

Dunc Fisher was inducted into the AHL Hall of Fame in 2025.
