Philip Francis Anthony "Phil" Maloney - Born October 6, 1927 in Ottawa, Ontario - Died February 21, 2020 in British Columbia was a Canadian ice Hockey centre, coach and general manager.

Maloney made his NHL debut with Boston Bruins on October 12, 1949 vs Detroit Red Wings at Detroit Olympia in a 2-1 Red Wings win.

Maloney scored his 1st NHL goal vs Frank Brimsek of Chicago Black Hawks at 18:17 of 1st period at Boston Garden in a 3-1 Chicago win.

Maloney played in 159 regular season NHL games for Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs and Chicago Black Hawks, scoring 28 goals (2 GWG), 43 assists with 12 penalty minutes and 6 NHL playoff games with 0 points or penalties.

Maloney played 364 regular season AHL games for the Hershey Bears, Pittsburgh Hornets and Buffalo Bisons (captain), scoring 134 goals, 249 assists with 143 penalty minutes and 25 AHL playoff games, scoring 7 goals, 10 assists with 4 penalty minutes.
Maloney was selected to the AHL First All-Star Team 1961.

Maloney was the Heart & Soul of the WHL Vancouver Canucks, playing 818 regular season WHL games, scoring 326 goals, 597 assists with 182 penalty minutes and 60 WHL playoff games, scoring 27 goals, 52 assists with 8 penalty minutes.
Maloney was selected to the WHL First All-Star Team in 1956.
