André Joseph Lacroix - Born June 5, 1945 in Lauzon, Quebec is a Canadian retired ice Hockey centre and coach.

J. Ross Robertson Cup Junior finalist 1964 with Montreal Junior Canadiens.

- Red Tilson Trophy Winner 1965 and 1966 as Ontario Hockey Association MVP / OHA Most Outstanding Player with Peterborough Petes.

- Eddie Powers Memorial Trophy Winner 1966 as Ontario Hockey Association / OHA player scoring the most points in the regular season (120) with Peterborough Petes.

- Bill Hunter Trophy Winner 1973 with Philadelphia Blazers, 1975 with San Diego Mariners.

Lacroix made his NHL debut on February 21, 1968 with the Philadelphia Flyers vs the Pittsburgh Penguins, also scoring his 1st NHL goal vs Les Binkley at 4:40 of 2nd period at the Pittsburgh Civic Arena in a 1-1 tie.

Lacroix scored his 1st NHL hat-trick vs Marv Edwards of Toronto Maple Leafs on December 11, 1969 at The Spectrum in a 6-3 Flyers win.

Lacroix led the Philadelphia Flyers in scoring in both 1969 and 1970.

Lacroix made the jump to the World Hockey Association / WHA inaugural season, joining the Philadelphia Blazers franchise for the 1972-73 WHA season.

Bill Hunter Trophy Winner in 1973, scoring 50 goals and 124 points with the Blazers and 1975, scoring 41 goals and 147 points with the San Diego Mariners.

Lacroix started the 1973-74 season with the New York Golden Blades, a short lived franchise that turned into the New Jersey Knights before seasons end.

Lacroix was named to Team Canada for the 1974 Summit Series against the Soviet Union, scoring 1 goal and 6 assists in eight games. His only goal was the game winner in Canada's only victory (4-1) of the series, Game 2 at Maple Leaf Gardens

Lacroix was named to the WHA First All-Star Team in 1973, 1974 and 1975.

Lacroix had 106 assists during the 1974-75 WHA season. Only Bobby Orr, Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky have had 100 or more assists during a season as a professional Hockey player.

Lacroix is 4th all-time in WHA history in goals scored.

Lacroix played in 325 regular season NHL games, scoring 79 goals (11 GWG), 119 assists with 44 penalty minutes and
16 NHL playoff games, scoring 2 goals, 5 assists with 0 penalties.

Lacroix played in 551 regular season WHA games, scoring 251 goals, 547 assists with 412 penalty minutes and 46 WHA playoff games, scoring 14 goals, 29 assists with 0 penalties.

André Lacroix was elected as an inaugural inductee into the World Hockey Association Hall of Fame in 2010.
