Larry Lund - Born September 9, 1940 in Penticton, British Columbia is a Canadian retired ice Hockey centre and Hockey school teacher.

- Abbott Memorial Cup / Abbott Cup Champion 1960, 1961 with Edmonton Oil Kings, 1986 with Penticton Knights (owner).

- Turner Cup Champion 1962 with Muskegon Zephyrs.

- Lester Patrick Cup Champion 1964 with San Francisco Seals, 1967, 1968 with Seattle Totems.

- Avco World Trophy / Avco Cup Champion 1974, 1975 with Houston Aeros.

- Centennial Cup (Manitoba Centennial Cup) Champion 1986 with Penticton Knights (owner).

After a successful junior career with Edmonton Oil Kings, reaching 2 Memorial Cup finals, Lund turned pro with the Muskegon Zephyrs of the International Hockey League / IHL, winning the 1962 Turner Cup in his first season.

After 2 seasons in the IHL, Lund joined the San Francisco Seals of the Western Hockey League / WHL, winning the 1964 Lester Patrick Cup in his first WHL season.

Lund would play 9 seasons in the WHL, winning 3 Lester Patrick Cups, becoming a fan favourite in both Seattle and Phoenix.

When the World Hockey Association / WHA started in 1972 to rival the NHL, Lund was drafted in the "preliminary" round by the Dayton Aeros (Houston Aeros), and would play the rest of his career in Houston, winning 2 Avco Cups while playing with Gordie Howe and his 2 sons, Mark and Marty.

Lund played in the 1974, 1975 WHA All-Star Game.

Lund played in 459 regular season WHA games, scoring 149 goals (24 GWG), 277 assists with 419 penalty minutes and 59 WHA playoff games, scoring 20 goals (3 GWG), 45 assists with 116 penalty minutes.

Lund was co-founder of Okanagan Hockey School in 1963.

Larry Lund was inducted into the BC Hockey Hall Of Fame in 2008.

Larry Lund was inducted into the World Hockey Association Hall of Fame in 2012.

Lund was named 23rd of the Top 50 World Hockey Association players of all time - 12th all-time points.
