George Edward "Bud" Gardner - Born October 8, 1942 in Lachine, Quebec – Died November 6, 2006 in Coconut Creek, Florida was a Canadian ice Hockey goaltender.

- J. Ross Robertson Cup Junior Champion 1963 with Niagara Falls Flyers.
- George Richardson Memorial Trophy Champion 1963 with Niagara Falls Flyers.
Memorial Cup finalist 1963.

- Lester Patrick Cup Champion 1969, 1970 with Vancouver Canucks.

Gardner made his NHL debut with Detroit Red Wings on March 20, 1966 vs Toronto Maple Leafs at Detroit Olympia in a 6-1 Red Wings win, also being his 1st NHL win.

Gardner would play in 66 regular season NHL games, winning 16, losing 31 and 7 ties. GAA 3.76 - SV% .887

NOTE
Gardner played in goal for the Vancouver Canucks 1st NHL game on October 9, 1970, a 3-1 loss to the L.A. Kings at Pacific Coliseum.
