Montreal native centre forward Frederick Ernest Strike (1880–1967) of the Michigan based Calumet Hockey Club in 1905–06, members of the International Hockey League.
Strike was the leading scorer in the IHL in 1904–05, with 44 goals in 24 games, with his team winning the inaugural IHL championship. On the Calumet team he was a teammate of future Hockey Hall of Fame (HHOF) inductees Hod Stuart and Jimmy Gardner.
Strike later also played briefly for the Toronto Ontarios in the National Hockey Association (NHA) in 1912–13.
