Kent Gemmell Douglas - Born February 6, 1936 in Cobalt, Ontario – Died April 12, 2009 in Wasaga Beach, Ontario was a Canadian ice Hockey defenceman and coach.

Calder Cup finalist 1967 with Rochester Americans, 1972 with Baltimore Clippers.
AHL First All-Star Team 1962.

Douglas made his NHL debut with Toronto Maple Leafs on October 10, 1962 vs Chicago Black Hawks at Chicago Stadium in a 3-1 Toronto win.

Douglas scored his 1st NHL goal vs Cesare Maniago of Montreal Canadiens at 4:52 of 1st period on October 18, 1962 at Montreal Forum in a 4-2 Montreal win.

Douglas played in 428 regular season NHL games, scoring 33 goals (1 GWG), 115 assists with 637 penalty minutes and 19 NHL playoff games, scoring 1 goal, 3 assists with 33 penalty minutes.

Douglas played in NHL All-Star Game 1962, 1963 & 1964.

NOTE
Douglas played with the Toronto Maple Leafs when they won the Stanley Cup in 1964 and 1967, but was sent to their farm team Rochester Americans during the later season and playoffs, and did not play for Toronto in the 1964 & 1967 playoffs. Douglas had stated that coach Punch Imlach demoted him on purpose, as the two of them never got along.
