In the 1868 AHL playoffs, the Reds defeated Springfield Kings 3-1 in games quarterfinals, then lost to Quebec Aces 3-1 in games in the semifinals.
Dave Creighton was awarded the Les Cunningham Award as AHL Most Valuable Player.
