Walter Boyer - Born September 27, 1937 in Cowan, Manitoba is a retired Canadian professional ice Hockey centre.
Boyer won the 1956 Memorial Cup championship with the Toronto Marlboros.
Boyer won the 1965 Calder Cup championship with the Rochester Americans.
Boyer played 365 career NHL games, scoring 54 goals and 105 assists for 159 points.
In his final year of pro Hockey, Boyer helped his Winnipeg Jets reach the finals of the 1973 WHA Avco Cup.
Wally Boyer is a “Honoured Member” of the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame 2005
