Brisson played his junior Hockey with St. Boniface Canadiens, leading them to the Turnbull Cup championship in 1956.
Brisson then turned pro, playing most of his career in the Western Hockey League / WHL with Winnipeg Warriors, Spokane Comets, San Francisco Seals, Seattle Totems and California Seals.
Brisson did play 4 NHL games for the Montreal Canadiens, making his NHL debut on Valentines Day February 14, 1963 vs Boston Bruins at Montreal Forum in a 2-1 Bruins win. He also got to play in Detroit Olympia vs the Red Wings, picking up his only NHL points (2 assists) and finished his NHL stint at Maple Leaf Gardens vs Toronto.
Brisson turned to coaching at the end of his playing days and was also a team owner in the Western Canada Hockey League / WCHL with Winnipeg Clubs, Winnipeg Monarchs and Calgary Wranglers.
