Hodge scored his 1st NHL goal vs Ed Giacomin of New York Rangers at 11:43 of 3rd period on December 29, 1965 at Madison Square Garden in a 3-0 Chicago win.
Hodge scored his 1st NHL hat-trick vs Gump Worsley of Montreal Canadiens on January 15, 1966 at Montreal Forum in a 6-4 Canadiens win.
Hodge played in 880 regular season NHL games, scoring 328 goals (57 GWG), 472 assists with 777 penalty minutes and 97 NHL playoff games, scoring 34 goals (6 GWG / 1 OTG), 47 assists with 130 penalty minutes.
