Reginald Francis "Frank" Carson - Born January 12, 1902 in Bracebridge, Ontario - Died April 21, 1957 in Crumlin, Ontario was a Canadian ice Hockey right winger and coach.

Carson Made his NHL debut with Montreal Maroons on January 30, 1926 vs Boston Bruins at Montreal Forum in a 5-0 Boston win.

Carson scored his 1st NHL goal vs Jake Forbes of the New York Americans at 8:25 of the 3rd period on March 11, 1926 at Montreal Forum in a 5-1 Maroons win.

Carson played in 248 regular season NHL games, scoring 42 goals (14 GWG), 48 assists with 170 penalty minutes and 22 NHL playoff games, having 2 assists with 9 penalty minutes.

Frank Carson later coached the Windsor Mic-Macs and Crumlin Flyers.

Frank Carson was inducted into the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame in 2004.

NOTE
The NHL Detroit Falcons would become the Detroit Red Wings for the 1932-33 NHL season, and Frank Carson would score the Red Wings 1st ever goal vs Charlie Gardiner of Chicago Black Hawks at 12:00 of the 1st period on November 10, 1932 at Detroit Olympia in a 3-1 Detroit win. He scored Detroit's 2nd goal too, which was the game winner.
