Naini Tal ( Nainital ) is a popular hill station in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.

The gravel-lined field of Nainital where the tournament was held, is a multipurpose one, as a flat spot in the hills around there is quite rare.

The tournament would turn into the All India Trades Cup Hockey Tournament. One of the oldest Hockey tournaments in India.
