Stan Baliuk won the Eddie Powers Memorial Trophy as the top scorer in the OHA regular season with 31 goals, 73 assists.
Kent Douglas would later play with the Toronto Maple Leafs, winning the Calder Memorial Trophy as NHL Rookie of the Year for 1962-63.
Willie O'Ree would become the first Black Hockey player in the NHL, playing with the Boston Bruins.
