Samuel "Porky" Levine - Born May 15, 1908 in Russian Empire - Died April 1, 1970 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario was a Russian/Canadian ice Hockey Goaltender and manager.

Well-known for the then-new technique of falling on the ice in front of the goal, "Porky" was threatened with fines and suspensions from the league.

Proud of his Jewish heritage but modest about his abilities, Levine used interviews to talk about other Jewish athletes and the Jewish community in general.

Levine won 2 Harry F. Sinclair Trophy championships as American Hockey Association / AHA winners in 1933 and 1934 with the Kansas City Pla-Mors / Kansas City Greyhounds.
