RCAF Flyers Olympic Champions 1948 Gold Hockey Ring.

Presented to Julius “Pete” Leichnitz for his participation with the RCAF Flyers as gold medal winners at the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz, Switzerland.

From an April 9th 1948 dinner to honour the RCAF Flyers, each 10 gram ring was presented by Governor General Viscount Alexander on behalf of the Royal Canadian Air Force.
