Gus Mortson
St. Michael`s College Hockey Team / Toronto St. Michael's Majors 1944
Mortson played 2 season with the St. Michael's Majors, helping them win the 1945 Memorial Cup.
Mortson had also helped the Oshawa Generals win the Memorial Cup in 1944, after the St. Michael's Majors season had ended.
Mortson would play 13 years in the National Hockey League / NHL, and be a star player with the Toronto Maple Leafs helping them win 4 Stanley Cups - 1947, 1948, 1949 and 1951.
Mortson was the Chicago Black Hawks captain from 1954 to 1957
