Robert James "Bobby" Dawes - Born November 29, 1924 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - Died May 26, 2003 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan was a Canadian ice Hockey defenceman, center and coach.

Dawes made his NHL debut with Toronto Maple Leafs on March 23, 1947 vs Detroit Red Wings at Detroit Olympia in a 5-3 Toronto win.

Dawes scored his 1st NHL goal vs Sugar Jim Henry at Chicago Black Hawks at 19:56 of 3rd period on October 23, 1948 at Maple Leaf Gardens in a 6-1 Toronto win.

Dawes played in 32 regular season NHL games, scoring 2 goals, 7 assists with 6 penalty minutes and 10 NHL playoff games, having 4 penalty minutes.
