Denis Gilles "Duper" Dupéré - Born June 21, 1948 - Jonquière, Quebec - Died April 14, 2019 in Jonquière, Quebec was a Canadian Indigenous (Cree) ice Hockey left winger, coach and Hockey school teacher.

Central Hockey League Champion

Dupéré made his NHL debut with Toronto Maple Leafs on February 10, 1971 vs Chicago Black Hawks at Chicago Stadium in a 3-2 Toronto win.

Dupéré scored his 1st NHL goal vs Rogie Vachon of Montreal Canadiens at 10:10 of 1st period on March 10, 1971 at Maple Leaf Gardens in a 2-1 Toronto win.

Dupéré played in 421 regular season NHL games, scoring 80 goals (6 GWG), 99 assists with 66 penalty minutes and 16 NHL playoff games, scoring 1 goal with 0 assists or penalties.

Dupéré played in 1975 NHL All-Star Game.

Dupéré's grandmother was from the Cree Nation of Mistissini.
