Walter Babe Pratt, player / coach of the New Westminster Royals, congratulates teammate Ollie Dorohoy, who scored the championship winning goal in overtime to defeat the Los Angeles Monarchs for the 1950 Phil Henderson Cup, championship trophy for the Pacific Coast Hockey League.
The Phil Henderson Cup was awarded for the Pacific Coast Hockey League championship from 1945 to 1952.
The league then became the Western Hockey League for the 1952-53 season, and the new trophy was called the President's Cup.
The trophy was again renamed in 1960 to honour Pacific Coast Hockey pioneer Lester Patrick following his death on June 1 of that year, and known as the Lester Patrick Cup, last awarded in 1974.
