Luc Jean-Marie Robitaille - Born February 17, 1966 in Montreal, Quebec is a Canadian/American retired ice Hockey left winger, executive and current president of L.A. Kings.

Robitaille made his NHL debut with Los Angeles Kings on October 9, 1986 vs St. Louis Blues, also scoring his 1st NHL goal vs Rick Wamsley at 16:59 of 1st period at The Forum in L.A. in a 4-3 St. Louis win.

Robitaille scored his 1st NHL hat-trick vs Billy Smith of New York Islanders on December 9, 1986 at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in a 7-2 Los Angeles win.

Robitaille played in 1431 regular season NHL games, scoring 668 goals (89 GWG / 7 OTG), 728 assists with 1177 penalty minutes and 159 NHL playoff games, scoring 58 goals (12 GWG / 2 OTG), 69 assists with 174 penalty minutes.

Robitaille is the 2nd highest scoring left winger in NHL history.

Robitaille played in NHL All-Star Games 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1999, 2001 and was selected to NHL 1st All-Star Team 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1993.

The Los Angeles Kings retired Robitaille's No. 20 jersey on January 20, 2007.

Luc Robitaille was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009.

Luc Robitaille was inducted into the California Sports Hall of Fame in 2013

In 2017, Robitaille was named one of the "100 Greatest NHL Players" in history.

In his honour, the QMJHL created the Luc Robitaille Trophy, awarded to the team which scores the most goals each season.

Trivia - Robitaille was picked 170 players after 1st overall selection Mario Lemieux in 1984 NHL draft.
