Charles Robert "Charlie" Simmer - Born March 20, 1954 in Terrace Bay, Ontario is a Canadian retired ice Hockey left winger.

Simmer made his NHL debut with California Golden Seals on December 27, 1974 vs Boston Bruins. He also scored his 1st NHL goal vs Boston Bruins (empty net) at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena in a 5-2 Seals win.

Simmer scored his 1st NHL hat-trick vs Michel Dion of the Quebec Nordiques on October 16, 1980 at The Forum in a 6-4 Los Angeles Kings win.

Simmer played in 712 regular season NHL games, scoring 342 goals (42 GWG / 2 OTG), 369 assists with 544 penalty minutes and 24 NHL playoff games, scoring 9 goals (1 GWG), 9 assists with 32 penalty minutes.

NOTE
Simmer holds the NHL record for shooting percentage of 32.75 in 1981.
