EditDonald William "Don" Beaupré - Born September 19, 1961 in Waterloo, Ontario is a Canadian retired ice Hockey goaltender.
Beaupré made his NHL debut on October 11, 1980 vs Hartford Whalers at The Met Center in a 9-3 North Stars win, also his 1st NHL victory.
Beaupré got his 1st NHL shutout vs Winnipeg Jets on December 26, 1984 at The Met Center in a 4-0 North Stars win.
Beaupré played in 666 regular season NHL games, winning 268 (17 SO), 277 losses, 75 ties with 283 penalty minutes and 8 assists. He played in 72 NHL playoff games, winning 33 (3 SO), 31 losses with 10 penalty minutes and 2 assists.
In his rookie year, Beaupré was selected to the 1981 NHL All-Star Game and reached the Stanley Cup finals. Minnesota would lose the series 4-1 against the powerful New York Islanders, but Beaupré recorded a 4–2 win in Game 4 of the 1981 Stanley Cup Finals at The Met Center.

On Feb. 6, 1995, Beaupre stopped all 34 shots by Philadelphia in a 3-0 win in the first shutout for the modern-day Ottawa Senators.
