Dennis Hextall - Born April 17, 1943 in Poplar Point, Manitoba is a retired ice Hockey left winger, coach and executive.

- Turnbull Memorial Trophy Champion 1962 and 1963 with Brandon Wheat Kings.

Hextall made his NHL Debut with the New York Rangers on April 14, 1968 vs Chicago Black Hawks at Madison Square Garden in a 2-1 Chicago win.

Hextall scored his 1st NHL goal vs Eddie Johnson of the Boston Bruins at 4:06 of the 2nd period at Madison Square Garden in a 9-0 Rangers win.

Hextall scored 153 goals, 350 assists in 681 regular season NHL games with 1,398 penalty minutes. In 22 NHL playoff games, he scored 3 goals, 3 assists with 45 penalty minutes.

Dennis Hextall is a "Honoured Member" of the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame, inducted in 1986.

Dennis Hextall was inducted into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame in 2008.

Dennis Hextall is the son of Hockey Hall of Fame (1969) Bryan Hextall, brother of Bryan Hextall Jr., uncle of Ron Hextall and sportscaster Leah Hextall, and great-uncle of AHL player Brett Hextall.......Hockey family.
