Bengt Tomas "Homer" Holmström - Born January 23, 1973 in Piteå, Sweden is a Swedish retired ice Hockey left winger.

- Le Mat Trophy Champion 1996 with Luleå HF.
Elitserien / Swedish Elite League Champion 1996.

- Stanley Cup Champion 1997, 1998, 2002, 2008.
Stanley Cup finalist 2009.

- Clarence S. Campbell Bowl Champion 1997, 1998, 2002, 2008, 2009.

- 2006 Winter Olympics Gold Medal Champion with Sweden.

Holmström played his junior Hockey in Sweden with Piteå HC and Luleå HF.

Holmström made his NHL debut with Detroit Red Wings on October 5, 1996 vs New Jersey Devils at Continental Airlines Arena in a 3-1 New Jersey win.

Holmström scored his 1st NHL goal vs Kelly Hrudey of San Jose Sharks at 17:01 of 3rd period on November 15, 1996 at Joe Louis Arena in a 5-1 Red Wings win.

Holmström scored his 1st NHL hat-trick vs Evgeni Nabokov & Miikka Kiprusoff of San Jose Sharks on March 18, 2001 at San Jose Arena in a 6-4 Red Wings win.

Holmström played in 1026 regular season NHL games, scoring 243 (39 GWG), 287 assists with 769 penalty minutes and 180 NHL playoff games, scoring 46 goals (9 GWG), 51 assists with 162 penalty minutes.

Holmström represented Sweden at the 1996 world championships, 2004 World Cup of Hockey and 2 Winter Olympics games 2002 and winning a Gold Medal at the 2006 games.

Tomas Holmström was inducted into the Piteå Wall of Fame in 2006.
