Jack Laviolette (1879–1960) with the Michigan Soo of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, in the International Professional Hockey League (IPHL).
Laviolette later, after having left the IPHL, became a prominent figure in the founding of the Montreal Canadiens and earned himself a Hockey Hall of Fame career.
