Robert James "Bobby" Schmautz - Born March 28, 1945 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - Died March 28, 2021 in Peoria, Arizona was a Canadian/American ice Hockey right winger.

Schmautz made his NHL debut with Chicago Black Hawks on February 21, 1968 vs Oakland Seals at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena in a 1-0 Chicago win.

Schmautz scored his 1st NHL goal vs Bruce Gamble of Toronto Maple Leafs at 15:48 of 1st period on February 28, 1968 at Maple Leaf Gardens in a 1-0 Chicago win. His goal was the game winner.

Schmautz scored his 1st NHL hat-trick vs Rogie Vachon of Los Angeles Kings on November 17, 1972 at Pacific Coliseum in a 8-4 Canucks win. His 3rd goal was the game winner.

Schmautz played in 764 regular season NHL games, scoring 271 goals (36 GWG), 286 assists with 988 penalty minutes and 84 NHL playoff games, scoring 28 goals (4 GWG / 1 OTG), 33 assists with 92 penalty minutes.

Schmautz played in NHL All-Star Games in 1973, 1974.

Bobby Schmautz was inducted into the Saskatoon Sports Hall of Fame in 1993.
