Harold Wiliiam "Chebub" Starr - Born July 6, 1903 in Ottawa, Ontario – Died September 25, 1981 in Ottawa, Ontario was a professional ice Hockey defenceman.

Starr played his junior Hockey in the Ottawa City Hockey League, with the Ottawa Gunners in 1921-22, the Ottawa St. Brigid's in 1922-23 and the Ottawa Shamrocks from 1925 to 1929.

Starr joined the IHL London Panthers to start the 1929 season, and was then signed by the NHL Ottawa Senators, playing with them until 1933. Starr was claimed by the Montreal Maroons for 1931-32 season in Dispersal Draft, September 26, 1931, and returned to the Senators for the 1932-33 season.

Starr was then traded to the Montreal Canadiens by Ottawa with Leo Bourgeault for Marty Burke and future considerations (Nick Wasnie, March 23, 1933), February 14, 1933, and the claimed on waivers by the Maroons from the Canadiens, December 5, 1933.

During this time, Starr would play 56 games over 2 seasons for the IHL Windsor Bulldogs, while also playing in the NHL.

Starr was then traded to New York Rangers by the Maroons for cash, December 23, 1934, finishing his NHL career as a Ranger in 1936.

Starr was traded to the IHL Cleveland Falcons by the Rangers for cash, January 30, 1936.

Starr would later play back in his home town in the Ottawa City Hockey League for the Ottawa Senators in 1937-38, and for the Ottawa Lasalle in 1938-39 before hanging retiring.
