Lundy made his NHL debut with Detroit Red Wings on March 13, 1946 vs Chicago Black Hawks, also scoring his 1st NHL goal vs Mike Karakas at 6:26 of 2nd period at Chicago Stadium
in a 9-4 Black Hawks win.
Lundy played in 150 regular season NHL games, scoring 37 goals (3 GWG), 32 assists with 31 penalty minutes and 16 NHL playoff games, scoring 2 goals (2 GWG), 2 assist with 2 penalty minutes.
Lundy later played for the Indianapolis Capitals and the St. Louis Flyers of the AHL, 3 seasons for the Calgary Stampeders in the WHL and finished his playing days with Regina Capitals.
