Dennis Melville Riggin - Born April 11, 1936 in Kincardine, Ontario – Died April 2, 2016 in Kincardine, Ontario was a Canadian ice Hockey goaltender.

- Dave Pinkney Trophy Winner 1954 with Hamilton Tiger Cubs.

Winner of the WHL Prairie Division Rookie of the Year Award with the Edmonton Flyers in 1957.

While starring for the Edmonton Flyers, having a great season in 1959-60, Riggin was called up to the NHL by Detroit Red Wings.

Riggin made his NHL Debut on February 4, 1960 at the Detroit Olympia vs the New York Rangers in a 3-1 loss.

Riggin got his 1st NHL victory and his only NHL shutout on February 7, 1960 vs the Chicago Black Hawks at Detroit Olympia in a 5-0 Red Wings win.

During his final season of playing in 1962-63, Riggin played for the Flyers (8 games), the the NHL Red Wings (9 games) and the AHL Pittsburgh Hornets (19 games).

Riggin played in 18 regular season NHL games, winning 7, losing 9 with 2 ties, 1 shutout, a 3.19 GAA and .886 SC%.
