Donald Andrew "Andy" Moog - Born February 18, 1960 in Penticton, British Columbia is a Canadian retired ice Hockey goaltender, coach and president.

The 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Alberta represented the first time that NHL players were allowed to compete in the Olympic games. Canada's team qualified for the final round, but placed fourth and out of the medals in the Winter Olympic tournament.

Moog made his NHL debut with Edmonton Oilers on December 23, 1980 vs Los Angeles Kings at The Forum in Inglewood in a 7-3 Kings win.

Moog got his 1st NHL victory vs Boston Bruins on January 2, 1981 at Northlands Coliseum in a 7-5 Oilers win.

Moog got his 1st NHL Shutout vs Winnipeg Jets on February 27, 1983 at Northlands Coliseum in a 3-0 Oilers win.

Moog played in 713 regular season NHL games, winning 372, losing 209 with 88 ties. He had 28 shutouts, 24 assists and 230 penalty minutes. He played in 132 NHL playoff games, winning 68, losing 57. He had 4 shutouts, 4 assists and 33 penalty minutes.

Moog played in NHL All-Star Games 1985, 1986, 1991, 1997.

Moog became the 10th goalie to win 300 NHL games. He reached that milestone on March 18, 1994 vs Washington Capitals at Reunion Arena in a 6-2 Dallas win.

Andy Moog was inducted into the British Columbia Hockey Hall of Fame in 2000.

Andy Moog was inducted into the BC Sports Hall of Fame in 2003.

Andy's father Don Moog was a goaltender for the Penticton Vees when they won the World Ice Hockey Championship in 1955.
