William Webster "Billy" Currie (1889–1954) circa 1910. Billy Currie was born in Markdale, Ontario but the family later moved to Brandon, Manitoba where Currie played senior hockey and was a leading goal scorer. He later also played hockey in Winnipeg and in Toronto for the TAAC.

Currie died in Kenora, Ontario, aged 64, and is buried at the Lake of the Woods Cemetery.
