Goaltender William Charles "Billy" Nicholson (1878–1947) of the Toronto Tecumsehs, 1912–13 season. Nicholson was also a manager of the Tecumsehs in the National Hockey Association (NHA).

Prior to the Tecumsehs Nicholson had played for a number of different clubs, among them the Montreal Hockey Club, Montreal Wanderers, Calumet Miners, Montreal Shamrocks and Haileybury Comets. He won the Stanley Cup in 1902 with the Montreal Hockey Club, as an amateur player.
