Daniel Frederick "Danny" Grant - Born February 21, 1946 in Fredericton, New Brunswick - October 14, 2019 in Fredericton, New Brunswick was a Canadian ice Hockey left winger and coach.

- Calder Memorial Trophy winner in 1969 with Minnesota North Stars.

- Stanley Cup Champion 1968 with Montreal Canadiens.
- Prince of Wales Trophy Champion 1968 with Montreal Canadiens.

Grant made his NHL debut with Montreal Canadiens on January 29, 1966 vs New York Rangers at Montreal Forum in a 6-2 Montreal win.

Grant scored his 1st NHL goal vs Gerry Cheevers of Boston Bruins at 3:00 of 3rd period on December 13, 1967 at Boston Garden in a 6-2 Montreal win.

Grant scored his 1st NHL hat-trick vs Terry Sawchuk of Detroit Red Wings on November 9, 1968 at Metropolitan Sports Center in a 6-4 Minnesota win.

Grant played in 736 regular season NHL games, scoring 263 goals (21 GWG), 273 assists with 239 penalty minutes and 43 NHL playoff games, scoring 10 goals (1 GWG), 14 assists with 19 penalty minutes.

Grant played in NHL All-Star Games 1969, 1970, 1971.

Grant was Detroit Red Wings captain in 1976 and 1977.

Danny Grant was inducted into the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame in 1985.

Member of Fredericton Sports Wall of Fame 1992.
