Jacques Lacarrière - Born July 25, 1906 in Paris, France – Died July 28, 2005 was a French ice Hockey defenseman, executive and president.
Lacarrière represented France at the 1928 and 1936 Winter Olympics and 5 european/world ice Hockey championships.
Lacarrière established the Français Volants in 1933.
France Ice Hockey Champion 1936, 1937, 1938 with Français Volants.
Lacarriere was president of the Fédération Française de Hockey sur Glace from 1946 to 1961.
Jacques Lacarrière was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2008.
The Jacques Lacarrière Trophy / Trophée Jacques Lacarrière was awarded for the Match des Champions / Champions Match from 2007 to 2017 and is now awarded to the winners of the Ligue Magnus regular season.
